Emission from agriculture
DANETV offers the verification of technologies reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, as well as treatment equipment for exhausted air from stock breeding. Stable systems might be equipped with low emissions technologies, liquid manure systems, liquid manure treatment (additives, ozone treatment, etc.), and air conditioning technology (ventilation, cooling). During the verification process the product’s efficiency is documented and compared to relevant environmental parameters, such as odeur, ammonia, greenhouse gasses (methane, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide) and dust.

Verifications in process:
Reduction of ammonia emission from cattle farm housing systems
The Danish company Jorgen Hyldgaard Staldservice has developed a technology for reduction of ammonia emission from cattle housing systems. Ammonia emission is reduced by mixing sulphuric acid to the slurry under controlled conditions. DANETV is undertaking a verification in order to document how much the ammonia emission can be reduced using the slurry acidification technology.

Completed verifications:
Reduction of odour from application of slurry on fields
A verification has been undertaken for the product SyreN, which is a new technology
for slurry application on fields. Additives are mixed into the slurry during
application in order to reduce emissions of both ammonia and odour. The main
purpose of the DANETV-test is to verify the size of the odour reduction. The
verification task was undertaken for the company Biocover, which has developed
SyreN. Verification
