Emission from livestock houses

DANETV offers the verification of technologies reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, as well as treatment equipment for exhausted air from stock breeding. Stable systems might be equipped with low emissions technologies, liquid manure systems, liquid manure treatment (additives, ozone treatment, etc.), and air conditioning technology (ventilation, cooling). During the verification process the product’s efficiency is documented and compared to relevant environmental parameters, such as odeur, ammonia, greenhouse gasses (methane, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide) and dust.

Completed verifications:

Reduction of ammonia emission from poultry housing systems
A heat exchanger for poultry housing system is verified for the company Rokkedahl Energi. The heat exchanger reduces the humidity of the ventilation air going into the poultry house. As a result the bedding material is more dry, which can lead to reduced ammonia emission from the poultry house. Statement of Verification, Verification report and Test report

Reduction of ammonia emission from cattle farm housing systems
The Danish company Jorgen Hyldgaard Staldservice has developed a technology for reduction of ammonia emission from cattle housing systems. Ammonia emission is reduced by mixing sulphuric acid to the slurry in the pits of the cattle housing system. DANETV has completed a verification to document the ammonia emission from four cattle housing systems where the Jorgen Hyldgaard slurry acidification system was installed. Statement of Verification, Verification report and Test report.

Gasemissions from stables
Verification of a biological air cleaner for reduction of ammonia and odor emissions from pig houses. The air cleaner is produced by Dorset Farm Systems and sold by Rotor A/S in Denmark. Verification Statement, Verification Report and Test Report.
