Flow regulator
Mosbaek
is producing
flow regulators to be
installed in the
sewage systems. By using
flow regulators flooding can be
alleviated in the piping
system.
Extreme
rains
often lasts
only a short
and
a
good solution
is to alleviate
the excess water
in appropriate
parts of the
sewage system.
Mosbaek
is currently having
their
centrifugal
flow regulator CEV
verified.
Completed verifications:
Reduction of arsenic in drinking water
By means of an iron generator developed by MicroDrop ApS drinking
water with elevated concentrations of arsenic can be treated. The
system includes an iron generator, an aerator, sand filters and a
tank for collection and removal of sludge. In the iron generator
iron is added to the water as Fe (II). The water is pumped through
the aerator, where iron(II) is oxidized to iron(III). Iron forms
poorly soluble hydroxides which adsorb arsenic. In the sand filter
poorly soluble hydroxides and adsorbed arsenic compounds are
removed. The plant was planned tested for reducing arsenic in drinking
water.

Treatment of water for reuse
The verification concerns filtration technology equipped with a silicon carbide membrane. The technology
was tested for treatment of re-circulated water in swimming pools and the technology works as an alternative to sand filter. The technology
was verified for CoMeTas A/S.

Drinking water from surface water
Coagulation with direct filtration technology for the production of drinking water from surface water sources
was verified for Ingenjörsfirma Ros AB, Sweden. The verification covers the removal of natural organic matter, particles and microorganisms.
